Making the Christmas Cake

 

All the children took part in making our annual Christmas cake with many little fingers making light work.  The end product was enjoyed by parents and grandparents alike following the Nativity Play in the Old Coach House.

 

What does this smell of?	Waiting patiently
I'm better than Mummy at this!	All gone.
Chopping cherries is quite fiddly.	Being careful  not to grate my fingers
A natural at whisking.	Messy business all this butter.
